Jingshan park (景山公园) is located north of the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. with a long history dates back to the Liao and Jin Dynasties, some a thousand years ago. Jingshan is one of the famous Beijing attractions since 1928.
Jingshan Park, occupying an area of about 23 hectares, it's the place you can enjoy the bird-eye view of the Forbidden city and Beijing city on a clear day. Jingshan has five man-made peaks, featured with a elaborate pavilion on the top of each peak. The main peak of the park is Jingshan Hill, 45.7 meters high, was also the highest point of ancient Beijing.
Jingshan Park Beijing became to a public park from 1928 and now is a popular place for both young and old people dancing, singing opera and doing other cultural activities at this park.
