The very first Peking roast duck restaurants is called Quanjude. They started the business in 1864.The seven-floor Heinemann Roast Duck Restaurants finished in 1979, it's the most famous and largest in Beijing.

Imperial Court Dishes
The Imperial Court Dishes are another representative cuisine of Beijing. The court dishes feature high-grade materials and fine culinary skills. The most famous restaurant for Imperial Court Dishes is located in Beihai Park, one of the imperial parks built in Qing Dynasty. Fangshan Restaurant at Beihai Park, Tingliguan Restaurant at Summera Palace and Dasanyuan Restaurant are the three most famous one.

Mongolian Hot Pot
Mongolian Hot Pot is another famous local delicay of Beijing. In Winter, people taste mutton that is instantly boiled in a hot pot. The most famous restaurant for Mongolian Hot Pot is Donglaishun.
