As a multinational country, China has a total
of 56 ethnic groups and has a populations of 1.3
billion. These ethnic groups are Han, Hui, Miao,
Dong, Yao, Bai, Tujia, Hani, Yi, Zhuang, Dai, Li, Wa,
Gaoshan, Shui, Naxi, Tu, Dongxiang, Jinpo, Qiang,
Maonan, Deapn, Bao'an, Jing, Hezhe, Jino, Uygur,
Lisu, Nu, Manchu, Mongolia, Tibetan, Bouyi, Kazak,
Korean, She, Lahu, Kirgiz, Daur, Mulam, Gelo, Xibe,
Salar, Tajik, Jing, Blang, Pumi, Achang, Ewenki,
Ozbek, Yugur, Moinba, Drung, Oroqen, Tatar, Lhoba.
Han is the nationality and covers 92% of total
population and mainly inhabited in the eastern and
central part of China. The 55 ethnic groups are
mainly live in the border regions of Southwest,
northwest and northeast of China. |
