Guilin Facts
Reputed as the "top landscape in the world", Guilin is ideally located on the west bank of Li River in the northeastern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Guilin Food
Guilin food is famous for a wide selection of materials, ingenious preparation, many varieties and unique flavor. Gourmand tourists won't be disappointed with the Guilin's region. Southern cuisine reigns supreme here with Guilin's cuisine a mixture of Guangdong and Hainan styles.
Well-know Guilin snacks include the rice flour noodles, soybean milk, five-colored glutinous rice and fried-flour gruel. Other specialties include stuffed snails and beer fish, a local catfish simmered in a delicious beet broth.
