Basic Facts

Sanya is situated at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island and is well-known for its pearl-white beaches and swaying palms. With a coastline of 180km, Sanya is a ideal place for swimming, aquaplaning, and rowing. In frozen winter, people from Northern China steam to Hainan for Sanya's sandy beach and tranquil water. The 7km Yalong Bay featured with amazingly white sand and rolling blue waters and reputed as the best beach in Hainan.
