Terminal 1 of Beijing Capital Airport
Terminal 1was opened on January 1, 1980, is a two-storey building with the arrival hall on the first floor and departure on the second foor. It's the operational base for all domestic flights operated by the HNA Group, including those of Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Deer Air and Tianjin Airlines.
Terminal 2 opened on November 1, 1999. All international flights operated from this terminal before Terminal 3 in operation. It's the operational base for China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Skyteam, Air Koryo, and other domestic flights. There's a a public walkway link Terminals 1 and Terminal 2. Shuttle buses are available too.
Terminal 3 is currently the second largest airport passenger terminal building of the world. T3 was started to build on March 2004 and became fully operational on March, 2008 to meet the need of Olympic Games held in Beijing. It's the operational base for Air China, Oneworld, Star Alliance, and other domestic and international flights.
