Beijing Zoo

Beijing Zoo is located in the Xicheng District of Beijing, China. Zoo Beijing is home to 14,500 animals. More than six million visitors come to Beijing Zoo each year.

Beijing Zoo was founded in 1906 during the late Qing Dynasty. Zoo Beijing is one of the oldest zoos and has one of the largest animal collections in China. Zoo Beijing and its aquarium feature over 450 species of land animals and over 500 species of marine animals. Beijing zoo is a center of zoological research that studies and breeds rare animals from various continents.

Beijing Zoo is also a public transit hub. One can get to Zoo Beijing by bus route 7, 15, 19 102, 103, 27, 102, 103, 105, 107, 111, 206, 209, 347, 601, 632, and 732. Beijing Subway Line 4 also stops at the Beijing Zoo.
