Day 1 Beijing Arrival

On arrival in Beijing, meet our driver and transfer to Beijing hotel.

Day 2 Beijing City Tour

Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 am. Visit to the world largest square-Tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City (UNESCO) where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.
A la carte lunch.
Pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO) which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. Return to hotel in the late afternoon.

Optional: Enjoy Acrobatic Show at only US$35 per person.

Our Beijing night tou starts from pick up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 6:00 pm and drive to Beijing the theatre.
Arrival at theatre, you will be lead to your seat with the assistance of both our tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-reserved entrance tickets.
Acrobatic show in China boasts a rich history of more than 1,000 of years. “Splendid!” represents the unremitting pursuit of China National Acrobatic Troupe for the traditional Chinese culture and top level of acrobatic arts. The show grants the traditional acrobatic arts with brand new elements by implementing modern techniques. Through this soul touching experience, the concept of “Great acrobatics with vigorous artistic life” has been fully interpreted.
Transfer back to your hotel around 21:00 pm.

Day 3 Beijing Xian by train

Pick up from your hotel at 0800am. Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall (UNESCO), the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China.
Badaling Great Wall -It is one of the most famous sections among the Great Wall of China in Beijing which built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. This section is some 70km away to downtown Beijing by superhighway and it is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing which can be visited in a half day. Great Wall at Badadling section was completely restored after 1957.
Return to downtown Beijing and visit the Summer Palace (UNESCO). Built in 1750 and known as the existing largest, best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998.
Our next stop will be an exterior visit of both the National Stadium - the "Bird Nest" and National Aquatics Centre - the "Water Cube". Then transfer to railway station and board train to Xian.

Day 4 Beijing to Xian by Train

Today is free on your own. Since the train to Xian leaves in the evening, we suggest you to explore the capital city on your own. Take a taxi to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Beijing Zoo visit takes about 1 hour or so.
We suggest to visit the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple.
In the afternoon, we suggest to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. You can hiking the Jingshan park if time permit. It is an former imperial garden, lies to the east of Beihai Park. The mid summit of Jingshan is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, you are able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.
Please go back to your hotel and collect your luggages. Take a taxi to railway station and board train Z19 (20:47pm-07:58am) to Xian on your own.

Day 5 Terracotta Warriors Tour

Arrive in Xian in the morning, greeted by our guide at railway station and pay a visit to Terra cotta soldiers Museum (UNESCO). Terra cotta soldiers is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Terra cotta Warriors tour lasts about 4 hours.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
Terra cotta Warriors tour end and return to our Xian hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6 Xian Guilin

Explore the city on your own. This morning, we suggest you visit the City Wall. visit Xian Ancient City Wall. It has been preserved intact, which is rarely seen in the world. The construction of the Xian City was formally started in the seventh year of Emperor Hongwu's reign (1374) and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu's reign (1378). The rectangular city wall is 13.7 kilometers in circumference and has 5,984 crenels and 98 places for the garriosn troops to stay in.
After that, pay a visit to the Great Mosque and the Muslim Street. The Great Mosque is located near the Drum Tower on 30 Huajue Lane of Xian, China, is the oldest and one of the most renowned mosques built in 742 of Tang Dynasty. Enjoy an exterior tour to Bell Tower or Drum Tower.
Afterwards, please take taxi or airport shuttle bus to airport and take flight to Guilin. Arrival in Guilin, please take taxi to hotel.

Day 7 Li River Cruise Tour

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to pier to board the cruise ship. We will only reserve the cruise ticket and transfer you to the Zhujiang pier today. Then Li River cruise tour and exploration in Yangshuo will be on your own. Enjoy a downstream cruise on the Li River which moves gently between Guilin's lovely peaks. It is called the "hundred-mile art gallery". Stop at the town named Yangshuo, which is embraced by a dozen of limestone karst mountains, and "has the best scenery in Guilin".
Explore the West Street in Yangshuo, a 2km stretch crammed with pubs, shops and hotels. Glimpses of the rich culture can be found in many shops selling local products.

Day 8 Yangshuo Guilin by road

Check out hotel after breakfast. Please take public bus return to Guilin by yourself. The shuttle bus ticket from Yangshuo to Guilin can be purchased easily at the bus station.
Guilin city tour on your own. We suggest to vist the Reed Flute Cave, which has some of the best scenery of Guilin with stalactites and stalagmites casting distorted shadows that contort to the shifting multi-colored lights.
Then visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin's best known sight and also the symbol of Guilin.
Climbing the Fubo Hill, with half its base sticking out into the Li River. The hill is dotted with many interesting caves such as Returned Pearl Cave which has a thousand-year-old image of Buddha from the Tang and Song Dynasty.
Transfer back to your hotel Guilin.

Day 9 Guilin to Chongqing by air

Check out hotel after breakfast and take taxi to airport to connect flight to Chongqing on your own.
On arrival in Chongqing, please take taxi to downtown and visit Hongqyadong on your own. Located in commercial district of Chongqing, Hongyadong combines travel, business, and cultural scenery into one grand view. The area overlooks the intersection of two rivers, and has a bustling nightlife and other leisure entertainment services.
Board the Yangtze cruise around 18:00pm on your own.

Day 10 Yangtze cruising - Shibaozhai

Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Fengdu, visiting the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam. Additional optional Shore Excursion to Fengdu’s “Ghost City” on your own arrangment, known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

Day 11 Three Gorges - “Small Gorges” - Shiplock

Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two—Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks. Additional optional Shore Excursion to White Emperor City on your own cost, an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge.

Day 12 Yichang to Shanghai by air

At San Dou Ping, see the progress at the historic Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project. Sail on to Yichang. Disembark from the ship, collect your luggage and take a taxi to Yichang Sanxia Airport on your own. The taxi fare is around CNY150. Check in and board the plane to Shanghai under the instructions of the airport. On arrival in Shanghai, please take taxi to hotel in Shanghai.

Day 13 Shanghai Day Tour

Explore Shanghai on your own. We suggest to visit Shanghai Museum first. Shanghai Museum located at No. 201 Renmin Avenue, one of the must-see Shanghai tourist attractions Shanghai, is well-known as a museum of ancient Chinese art. It costs about CNY20 from your hotel to the Shanghai Museum by taxi. After that, you can hail a taxi again at a cost of about CNY15 to visit the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. Afterwards, enjoy a walk to the the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Walk along East Nanjing Road for about 1000 meters and you will find a bustling Nanjing Road pedestrian street, where there are many shopping malls, international brand stores, and Chinese and Western restaurants. Return to the hotel by taxi at a cost of about CNY20.

Day 14 Depart Shanghai

After breakfast, hotel-airport transfer is on your own arrangement and fly back to sweet home.
