Itinerary

Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Upon your arrival in Beijing, our driver will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall of the airport after you finish the check-out procedures. A comfortable private transfer will take you to the hotel in downtown area.

Hotel: 3 star Holiday Inn Express Temple of Heaven or similar

Day 2 Beijing City Tour

Pick up from your Beijing hotel at 0830am. Visit the largest square of the world, Tiananmen Square.  Followed with the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.

After typical Chinese lunch at local restaurant, head to the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year.
The next stop is the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998.
Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3 Beijing to Xian by train

Pick up from your hotel at 0730am to 0830am. Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. Badaling Great Wall: It is the most famous section of Great Wall in Beijing which built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. This section is some 70km away to downtown Beijing by superhighway and it is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing which can be visited in a half day. Badadling Great Wall was completely restored after 1957.Hiking the Great Wall (cable car is optional) for 1.5 hrs and head to the largest restaurant to enjoy a typical Chinese style lunch.
Take a 45 minutes drive to the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing.
The imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are four groups of tombs in four provinces of eastern China. The tombs, designed in keeping with the Chinese principles of geomancy (fengshui), provide outstanding evidence of Chinese beliefs and traditional from the 14th century onwards and are significant examples of architecture and applied arts from that period.
Pass by Olympic Green, the "Bird's Nest" & "Water Cube".
Transfer to railway station to board train for Xian.

Day 4 Terracotta Warriors Tour

Arrive in Xian in the morning, greeted by our guide at railway station and pay a visit to Terra cotta soldiers Museum (UNESCO). Terra cotta soldiers is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Terra cotta Warriors tour lasts about 4 hours.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
Terra cotta Warriors tour end and return to our Xian hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 5 Xian Chengdu

Pick up from your hotel lobby in the morning. Our Xian tour start with Shaanxi History Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 3,000 relics, ranging from 115,000-year-old prehistory articrafts to items from the Opium Wars of the 1840's.
Afterwards, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda including Xian Museum after breakfast, which is one of the most important surviving marks of the ancient capital Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty.
Transfer to airport for Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 6 Chengdu City Tour

Tour starts to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, 10km north of Chengdu in the morning. It is best time to visit here in the morning between 8am to 10am when the pandas are fed. 
Lunch on your own.
Then move on to Kuanzhai Alley. Kuanzhai Alley literally means "Wide and Narrow Alleys" (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi). Here they particularly referred to the two famous lanes in Chengdu – Kuan Alley (wide lane) and Zhai Ally ( narrow Lane). Both Kuan Alley and Zhai Alley (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi) are the gentrified ancient alleys from Qing Dynasty ( 1644 -1911 ) in Chengdu.
Finally have a walk along Jinli Walking Street.

Day 7 Chengdu Shanghai by air

Free at leisure till pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for Shanghai, the largest city of China. On arrival, greeted by our driver and transfer to hotel. Explore the city on your own.

Day 8 Shanghai City Tour

Pick up from inner ring Shanghai hotels or transfer to starting hotel Shanghai on your own.
Our Shanghai coach tour started with a visit to the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. Followed a visit to the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then pay a visit to the "Xintiandi" and the Former French Concession Area.
After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Then visit the Shanghai Museum.
Shanghai coach tour finished with a visit to the People's Square.
Shanghai bus tour ends and transfer back to starting hotel.

Day 9 Depart Shanghai

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport or railway station for next destination.
