Day 1 Shanghai Arrival

On arrival, met by our driver and transfer to hotel.

Hotel: 3 star Holiday Inn Express Zhabei or similar

Day 2 Shanghai City Tour

Pick up from inner ring Shanghai hotels or transfer to starting hotel Shanghai on your own.
Our Shanghai coach tour started with a visit to the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. Followed a visit to the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then pay a visit to the "Xintiandi" and the Former French Concession Area.
After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Then visit the Shanghai Museum.
Shanghai coach tour finished with a visit to the People's Square.
Shanghai bus tour ends and transfer back to starting hotel.

Day 3 Shanghai Yichang by air

Free at leisure till pick up from hotel and transfer to airport to connect the flight to Yichang. Meet our guide and embark the Yangtze River cruise.

Day 4  Three Gorges Dam - Xiling Gorge

Morning visit to the Three Gorges Dam at Sandouping, the largest in the world. Later sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks. Sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Additional Tribe of the Three Gorges Shore Excursion at your own arrangement, offering an interesting glimpse into life in the Xiling Gorge region.

Day 5 “Small Gorges” - Wu Gorge - Qutang Gorge

Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Wu Gorge, known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Then sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic gorge. Additional optional Shore Excursion to White Emperor City on your own arrangement, an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge.

Day 6 Shibaozhai

Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Fengdu, visiting either the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam. Additional optional Shore Excursion to Fengdu’s “Ghost City” on your own cost, known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

Day 7 Chongqing Xian by air

Arrival Chongqing at 0900 am & disembark . Meet our local guide and visit Ciqikou old street if time permit.
Transfer to airport and take a flight for Xian. On arrival, meet our local driver and transferred to Xian hotel.

Day 8 Xian City Tour

Pick up from your hotel lobby in the morning. Our Xian tour start with Shaanxi History Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 3,000 relics, ranging from 115,000-year-old prehistory articrafts to items from the Opium Wars of the 1840's.
Have Chinese style lunch at local restaurante.
After lunch, visit Xian Ancient City Wall. It has been preserved intact, which is rarely seen in the world. The construction of the Xian City was formally started in the seventh year of Emperor Hongwu's reign (1374) and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu's reign (1378). The rectangular city wall is 13.7 kilometers in circumference and has 5,984 crenels and 98 places for the garriosn troops to stay in.
Then pay a visit to the Muslim Street. Enjoy an exterior tour to Bell Tower or Drum Tower.
Transfer back to your hotel Xian.

Day 9 Xian Beijing by train

Pick up from your downtown Xian hotel between 8:00am and 9:00am. Our Xian guide will call you the night before to confirm you the the specific pickup time for next day tour.
Terra-cotta Soldiers group tour start with the Banpo Museum first. Banpo Neolithic Village Museum is named from the remains of Banpo village which is located east of Xian. The remains were discovered in 1953. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC. It is recorded that about 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. There were about 500 villagers who lived in the village. Visitors can still see the remains of over 40 houses, over 200 cellars, 6 kilns.Pay a 30 minutes short visit to the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory.
After China style lunch, visit Terracotta soldiers Museum.  Terracotta soldiers group tour It is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Found in 1974, it covers the three going hand in hand with pits of the first head of Qin's mausoleum. Everybody who visits here will be overpowered by its fabulous scale, exciting scenes, elevated expectation of science and workmanship in the antiquated times.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
Transfer to railway station to board train Z20 (19:30pm-07:30am)to Beijing.

Day 10 Hutong Tour

Pick up from railway station in the early morning, and then driving to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes. Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00.
You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours.
We will arrange 45 minutes to take pictures at the Bird's nest and water cube. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets, and you could enter in the stadiums for a visit yourself. Transferred back to your hotels.

Optional: Enjoy Beijing Opera at only US$35 per person.
Our Beijing night tour starts from pick up from your Beijing hotel around 6:00 pm and drive to Beijing Liyuan Theatre at Jianguo Hotel. Arrival at Liyuan Theatre, you will be lead to your seat with the assistance of both our tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-reserved entrance tickets.
The Beijing Opera became to the national opera since the reign of the 3rd emperor Qian Long of Qing Dynasty.
At the time all the "dan", "chou" and "sheng" roles were played by male actors, (Female role called dan, male role called sheng, clown role called chou). Nowadays they are played separately by females and males. The Beijing Opera is famous for its colorful facial make up and fantastic costumes. According to sex, age and disposition, each role is characterized by different designs of facial make-up. Pekin Opera combines stylized acting with singing, dancing, musical dialogue, martial arts and colorful make up. It's one of the "must-to-see" when you visit Beijing.

Day 11 Badaling Great Wall Tour

Pick up from your hotel at 0730am to 0830am. Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China.
Badaling Great Wall (UNESCO): It is the most famous section of Great Wall in Beijing which built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. This section is some 70km away to downtown Beijing by superhighway and it is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing which can be visited in a half day. Badadling Great Wall was completely restored after 1957.
Hiking the Great Wall for 1.5 hrs and head to the largest restaurant to enjoy a typical Chinese style lunch. Drive back to downtown and pay a visit to the Tiananmen Square.
Tiananem Square: Tiananmen Square is named after the first gate of the Imperial City. The magnificent Tian'anmen Rostrum (Gate of Heavenly Peace). The Square is the largest square in the world. It covers an area of 44 hectares, big enough to hold one million people. Tian'anmen Square had completed its renovation to welcome the 50th anniversary of China in 1999. Nowadays Tian'anmen Square is one of the most famous and popular places in China. It is the place for celebrations on such festive days as International Labor Day on May 1 and National Day on October 1.
Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.
Forbidden City (UNESCO): Seat of supreme power for over five centuries, the Forbidden City, with its landscaped gardens and many building (whose nearly 10000 rooms contain furniture and work of art), constitutes a priceless testimony to Chinese civilization during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Our Beijing show tour starts from pick up serivce from your Beijing hotel around 6:00 pm and drive to Beijing Red Theatre which located at No. 44, Xing fu Da Jie, Chongwen District Beijing.
Arrival at Red Theatre, you will be lead to your seat with the assistance of both our tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-reserved entrance tickets.
