Itinerary

Day 1 Shanghai Arrival

On arrival, met by our driver and transfer to hotel.

Hotel: 4 star Holiday Inn Downtown or similar

Day 2 Shanghai Xian by train

Pick up from hotel after breakfast.
Our sightseeing this morning is the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai.
Explore the Chenghuang Miao (City God Temple) which located within the old walled city, is the traditional district of commerce in the city, surrounding the temple. There are over a hundred stores and shops in this area, and most of these store buildings are nearly a century old. En-route, a comfort stop will be made at a silk rug factory.
Tour the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture.
Enjoy a 45 minutes Huangpu River Cruise. Huangpu River cruises on Huangpu River are runned by many companies in Shanghai and it is one of the best way to visit Shanghai.
Huangpu River is a 82.5 kilometres-long river in Shanghai China, known as is the last significant tributary of the Yangtze before it empties into the East China Sea. The Bund and Lujiazui are located along the Huangpu River.
Huangpu River cruises depart from the Bund, sail to Huangpu Bridge in the south, turn and head north towards Wusongkou, and return to the Bund.
Visit the Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum located at No. 201 Renmin Avenue, one of the must-see Shanghai tourist attractions Shanghai, is well-known as a museum of ancient Chinese art.
Transfer to railway station to board train Z92 (18:46pm-09:20am)to Xian.

Day 3 Xian Arrival

Arrive in Xian at 07:58am. Meet our local guide at exit of Xian Railway Station and check in hotel for a short rest if possible.
Our sightseeing today features the Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum. It is not only reputed as the world's Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world.The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
Terra-cotta tour lasts about 4 hrs and return to hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4 Xian City Tour

Pick up from your hotel lobby in the morning. Our Xian tour start with Shaanxi History Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 3,000 relics, ranging from 115,000-year-old prehistory articrafts to items from the Opium Wars of the 1840's.
Afterwards, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda including Xian Museum after breakfast, which is one of the most important surviving marks of the ancient capital Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty.
Then pay a visit to the Muslim Street. Enjoy an exterior tour to Bell Tower or Drum Tower.

Day 5 Xian Lhasa by air

Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport to board flight to Lhasa.
Arrive at Lhasa airport, meet your guide and driver, and then transfer to Lhasa city. On the way, you can enjoy the heart-beating highland view along the Yearlong Tsangpo river (the longest river in Tibet with highest elevation in the world).
After check in our Lhasa hotel, the rest time is free for relax and Acclimatize to the High Altitude.

Day 6 Lhasa City Tour

Highlights: Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
This morning, visit Potala Palace. It is more than 3,700 meters above sea level and it is the highest palace in the world! At the top the palace called golden roofs, you can have a bird-eye view of the whole of Lhasa. In the distance there are undulating mountain ranges, the beautiful Lhasa River, tracts of fields, tree-shaded villages and the glistening Jokhang Temple.
Afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, it is the first built during the period of Sontsan Gambo in the 7th century, features Buddhist prayer wheels, reclining deer, golden sutra streamers. You'll find that many Pilgrims pray before the monastery.
The circuit around it called Barkhor Street, a famous local handmade crafts market, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs

Day 7 Lhasa City Tour

Highlights: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery
(Tour of the most important monasteries in Tibet).
In the morning, we will visit Drepung Monastery which is the biggest Tibetan Buddhism College with the biggest number of monks in Tibet. The monastery used to be the winter residence of the Dalai Lama before the 5th Dalai Lama moved his residency to the Potala Palace. And in the afternoon, we will visit another influential Gelugpa Monastery - Sera Monastery, where the largest scale of scripture debating among monks is famous all across Tibet. We will watch the debate session and you may join in too with the help your guide.

Day 8 Lhasa Beijing by train

Check out hotel around 10:00am and transfer to Lhasa Railway Station to board train Z22 (14:35pm-08:20am+2 day) to Beijing.

Day 10 Beijing Arrival

Arrive Beijing, pick up from railway station and check in hotel for short rest if possible.
Visit to the world largest square-Tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.
A la carte lunch.
Pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. Return to hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 11 Great Wall Tour

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast. Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall (UNESCO), the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China.
Badaling Great Wall -It is one of the most famous sections among the Great Wall of China in Beijing which built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. This section is some 70km away to downtown Beijing by superhighway and it is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing which can be visited in a half day. Great Wall at Badadling section was completely restored after 1957.
Afterwards, return to downtown Beijing and visit the Summer Palace (UNESCO). Built in 1750 and known as the existing largest, best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998.
Our next stop will be an exterior visit of both the National Stadium - the "Bird Nest" and National Aquatics Centre - the "Water Cube".
Return to your hotel.
