Day 3 Shanghai Yichang by high speed train
Take high speed train D952 (8:30/15:03 Duration:6h33m)to Yichang.
We are arranging a motor-coach transfer from Yichang passenger terminal to board our vessel in Maoping:
From the Yichang Cruise Terminal Center at Dock #9 (142 Yanjiang Road (across the street from Wanda Square)
Transfer starts between 4:00pm and 9:00pm (shuttle bus service is arranged by the Yichang Transportation Group). Passengers proceed to the service counter set up by Yichang Transportation Group, and will be given a color coded logo to correspond with their ship when boarding the coaches. Passengers will not be responsible for any transfer cost.
Depart Yichang - This evening, Victoria Cruises will provide a shuttle transfer from Yichang to the nearby Maoping pier to embark on your Victoria ship.

Day 4 Ship Lock Lift/Three Gorges Dam/Xiling Gorge
Disembark this morning and take a specially-designed sightseeing boat through the recently-completed unique ship lock with a ship lift, the world’s largest. The lock will be transited in about 40 minutes to an hour. Then visit the Three Gorges Dam, which spans the Yangtze River at Sandouping; it is the world’s largest power station. Sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges.
Additional optional Tribe of the Three Gorges Shore Excursion (river conditions permitting), offering an interesting glimpse into life in the Xiling Gorge region.

Day 5 “Small Gorges”/Wu Gorge/Qutang Gorge
Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Wu Gorge, known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Then sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic gorge.
Additional optional Shore Excursion to White Emperor City (river conditions permitting), an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge.

Day 6 Shibaozhai
Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Fengdu, visiting either the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.
Additional optional Shore Excursion to Fengdu’s “Ghost City” on your own cost, known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

Day 7 Chongqing Guilin by high speed train
Arrive Chongqing - 9:00am: Disembark at picturesque Chongqing, the “Mountain City”.Greeted by our guide at pier. Free on your own. We recommend to join in our optional tour to Dazu Grottoes (UNESCO) US$99 p.p Take a 2 hours drive to Dazu for the Buddhist cave sculptures and grotto art. Dazu rock carving and statues are scattered over some 70 sites in Dazu County. Dating back to Tang and Song Dynasty, Dazu Rock Carvings and statues are purely Chinese style, are quite different from those at Yungang and Dunhuang which have obvious foreign influences. The sculptures at Baoding Mountain was constructed from 1179 to 1249. The Reclining Buddha here is some 31m long and 5m high.
Take high speed train to Guilin. Railway station-hotel transfer.

Day 8 Guilin Li River cruise tour
Enjoy a downstream cruise on the Li River which moves gently between Guilin's lovely peaks. It is called the "hundred-mile art gallery". Stop at the town named Yangshuo, which is embraced by a dozen of limestone karst mountains, and "has the best scenery in Guilin".
Explore the West Street in Yangshuo, a 2km stretch crammed with pubs, shops and hotels. Glimpses of the rich culture can be found in many shops selling local products.
Pick up from West Street and take 1 hr drive back to your hotel in Guilin. End of our memorable Li River cruise tour.

Day 9 Guilin Xian by flight
Free to explore the city on your own pace.
We suggest to join in our guided small group tour with lunch US$83/person.
Tour starts with the Reed Flute Cave, which has some of the best scenery of Guilin with stalactites and stalagmites casting distorted shadows that contort to the shifting multi-colored lights.
Then visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin's best known sight and also the symbol of Guilin.
Climbing the Fubo Hill, with half its base sticking out into the Li River. The hill is dotted with many interesting caves such as Returned Pearl Cave which has a thousand-year-old image of Buddha from the Tang and Song Dynasty.
Explore Seven Star Park, the largest park in Guilin offers many attractive sites.
Transfer to airport for Xian. Overnight in Xian.

Day 10 Xian Beijing by train
Terra-cotta Soldiers group tour start with the Banpo Museum first. Banpo Neolithic Village Museum is named from the remains of Banpo village which is located east of Xian. The remains were discovered in 1953. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC. It is recorded that about 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. There were about 500 villagers who lived in the village. Visitors can still see the remains of over 40 houses, over 200 cellars, 6 kilns.Pay a 30 minutes short visit to the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory.
After China style lunch, visit Terracotta soldiers Museum. Terracotta soldiers group tour It is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Found in 1974, it covers the three going hand in hand with pits of the first head of Qin's mausoleum. Everybody who visits here will be overpowered by its fabulous scale, exciting scenes, elevated expectation of science and workmanship in the antiquated times.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.

Day 11 Beijing
Greeted by your driver at exit of railway station and transfer to hotel. Explore Beijing on your own pace.

First visit Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes.
We will arrange 45 minutes to take pictures at the Bird's nest and Water cube. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets, and you could enter in the stadiums for a visit yourself.
Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00. You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You can also have the chance to enjoy the porcelain factory, which is also a must in ancient Beijing tour. Then drive you to the Jingshan park. It is an former imperial garden, lies to the east of Beihai Park. The mid summit of Jingshan is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, you are able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City. The jingshan park visit takes about 40 minutes. Transferred back to your hotels.

Our Beijing night tour starts from pick up from your Beijing hotel around 6:00 pm and drive to Beijing Liyuan Theatre at Jianguo Hotel. Arrival at Liyuan Theatre, you will be lead to your seat with the assistance of both our tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-reserved entrance tickets.
The Beijing Opera became to the national opera since the reign of the 3rd emperor Qian Long of Qing Dynasty.
At the time all the "dan", "chou" and "sheng" roles were played by male actors, (Female role called dan, male role called sheng, clown role called chou). Nowadays they are played separately by females and males. The Beijing Opera is famous for its colorful facial make up and fantastic costumes. According to sex, age and disposition, each role is characterized by different designs of facial make-up. Pekin Opera combines stylized acting with singing, dancing, musical dialogue, martial arts and colorful make up. It's one of the "must-to-see" when you visit Beijing.

Day 12 Mutianyu Great Wall Forbidden City
Pick up travelers from downtown hotels around 6:50AM. This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square, the largest square in the world. Then proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City (UNESCO) along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
After lunch, visiting Mutianyu Great Wall (UNESCO) about 2 hours. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. If you want to reach the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional).
Finishing the tour and transferred back to hotels around 5:00pm--6:00pm.
