Itinerary

Day 1 Beijing Arrival

On arrival in Beijing, meet our driver and transfer to hotel.

Hotel: 4 star Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven or similar

Day 2 Beijing City Tour

Pick up from your Beijing hotel at 0830am. Visit the largest square of the world, Tiananmen Square.  Followed with the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.

A la carte lunch. Head to the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year.
Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Tonight, you will watch an exciting Acrobatic Show or Beijing Opera and return to hotel around 21:00pm.

Day 3 Mutianyu Great Wall

Pick up from your hotel and take a 2 hrs drive to Mutianyu Great Wall which is located some 90km north of Beijing. It is good idea to take the cable car (optional) to reach the top, the views of the Great Wall undulating down wooded canyons and up the mountain ridges are breathtaking.
After Chinese style lunch, return to downtown Beijing and visit the Summer Palace. Built in 1750 and known as the existing largest, best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998.
Our next stop will be an exterior visit of both the National Stadium - the "Bird Nest" and National Aquatics Centre - the "Water Cube" Return to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing Dunhuang by air

Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport to board morning flight to Dunhuang. On arrival, greeted by our guide and visit the Crescent Moon Lake, which forms an oasis at the deserts edge.
Followed with a visit to the Echoing-Sand Dune - Located 6 kilometers south of Dunhuang city, Singing Sand Hill which is also known as the sand dunes of Mingsha, offers fantastic desert scenery. The dune, surrounded by rolling ridges and precipitous cliffs, reaches a relative height of 250 meters.

Day 5 Dunhuang Xian by air

Morning tour features the Mogao caves. Boast 491 grottoes, Mogao Caves also known as the 1000-Buddha Cave. It is the largest of its kind and one of the best-preserved treasures of the art in the world.
After lunch, visit Dunhuang Museum - It is a local museum for housing the cultural relics that were excavated in the Dunhuang area. Now there are over 4000 historical items contained in the museum. The museum is divided into four exhibition halls.
Transfer to airport to take flight for Xian. On arrival, greeted by our driver and transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Terracotta Soldlers Museum Tour

Our sightseeing this morning features the Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum. It is not only reputed as the world's Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Found in 1974, it covers the three going hand in hand with pits of the first head of Qin's mausoleum. Everybody who visits here will be overpowered by its fabulous scale, exciting scenes, elevated expectation of science and workmanship in the antiquated times. Terracotta Warriors tour lasts about 3 hours.Next you'll head to the Terracotta Replication Factory that actually re-made terracotta soldiers.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
After typical Chinese lunch at local restaurant, visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 113,000 relics unearthed locally.
Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7 Xian Shanghai by air

Pick up from your hotel lobby in the morning. Our Xian tour start with Xian Ancient City Wall. It has been preserved intact, which is rarely seen in the world. The construction of the Xian City was formally started in the seventh year of Emperor Hongwu's reign (1374) and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu's reign (1378). The rectangular city wall is 13.7 kilometers in circumference and has 5,984 crenels and 98 places for the garriosn troops to stay in.
After lunch,pay a visit to the Muslim Street. Enjoy an exterior tour to Bell Tower or Drum Tower.
Transfer to airport to board flight to Shanghai. On arrival, greeted by our driver and transfer to downtown hotel.

Day 8 Shanghai City Tour

Pick up from hotel after breakfast.
Our sightseeing this morning is the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai.
Explore the Chenghuang Miao (City God Temple) which located within the old walled city, is the traditional district of commerce in the city, surrounding the temple. There are over a hundred stores and shops in this area, and most of these store buildings are nearly a century old. En-route, a comfort stop will be made at a silk rug factory.
Lunch will be Shanghai Dumpling.
Tour the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture.
Enjoy a 45 minutes Huangpu River Cruise. Huangpu River cruises on Huangpu River are runned by many companies in Shanghai and it is one of the best way to visit Shanghai.
Huangpu River is a 82.5 kilometres-long river in Shanghai China, known as is the last significant tributary of the Yangtze before it empties into the East China Sea. The Bund and Lujiazui are located along the Huangpu River.
Huangpu River cruises depart from the Bund, sail to Huangpu Bridge in the south, turn and head north towards Wusongkou, and return to the Bund.
Visit the Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum located at No. 201 Renmin Avenue, one of the must-see Shanghai tourist attractions Shanghai, is well-known as a museum of ancient Chinese art.

Day 9 Depart Shanghai
