D02 Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven Summer Palace Beijing Roast Duck
Beijing Opera ( B+L+D )

Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. Then visit the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998.Enjoy Beijing Opera after Beijing Roast Duck dinner.

D03 Badaling Great Wall Ming Tomb Olympic Stadiums ( B+L )

Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some souvenirs. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. The next stop will be photo taking of the Olympic Stadiums, the "Bird Nest" and the "Water Tube". On the way back to your hotel, a short visit to the Chinese Tea House where you can enjoy tea ceremony.

D04 Beijing Fly to Urumqi Nanshan Pasture Erdaoqiao Bazaar ( B+L )

Free at leisure till pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for Urumqi in the morning. On arrival, meet our guide. Tour features the Nanshan Pasture, where tourist can visit locals' houses to have some milk tea and mutton. Explore the Erdaoqiao Bazaar, a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and more.

D05 Urumqi ~ Turpan Karez Irrigation Site Sugong Minaret ( B+L )

Pick up from hotel after breakfast and take a 4hrs drive to to Turpan. Check in hotel and then head for the Karez Irrigation Site, which the locals are most proud of, the irrigation method is their greatest contribution to desert dwellers. Our last stop is the Sugong Minaret.

D06 Jiaohe Ruins Turpan to Dunhuang by Train ( B+L )

Visit the Jiaohe Ruins which was built in Han Dynasty as a Chinese garrison town to defend the borderlands. In the afternoon, explore the city on your own. Pick up from hotel and transfer to railway station to connect overnight train T218 for Dunhuang at 2243pm.

D07 Mogao Caves The Crescent Moon Lake Sounding Sand Dune ( L )

Arrival Dunhuang at 1048am. Meet our guide and transfer to your hotel. Pick up from hotel at lunch time. Enjoy a short camel riding along the Sounding Sand Dune after lunch. Then visit the Crescent Moon Lake, which forms an oasis at the deserts edge.

D08 Mogao Caves Dunhuang Fly to Xian ( B+L )

Morning tour features the Mogao caves. Boast 491 grottoes, Mogao Caves also known as the 1000-Buddha Cave. It is the largest of its kind and one of the best-preserved treasures of the art in the world. Transfer to airport to take evening flight for Xian. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel.

D09 Terracotta Warriors Shaanxi Museum Big Goose Pagoda ( B+L )

Arrive in Xian in the morning. Meet our local guide and transfer to hotel first. Our sightseeing this morning features the Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum. It is not only reputed as the world's Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Followed with the tour to Shaanxi Provincial Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 113,000 relics unearthed locally. Then visit the Big Goose Pagoda which was built in AD 648. The pagoda is regarded as a symbol of Xian.

D10 Xian Fly to Chongqing Ciqi Kou Stilwell Museum ( B+D )

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to airport to connect the flight for Chongqing. On arrival, meet our local guide and visit the Ciqi Kou, which was an old harbor of Chongqing and was once the home of many of Chongqing's rich merchants. Followed with the Stilwell Museum if time permits. After typical Chinese dinner, board the deluxe cruise ship at 21:00 and start our memorable Yangtze River tour.

D11 Yangtze River Cruise Fengdu Ghost City ( B+L+D )

Disembark at Fengdu Ghost City, the "Ghost City" for an excursion. Enjoy the Captain's Welcome Party presents Chinese folk dancing and music performance after dinner.

D12 Yangtze River Cruise Qutang Gorge to Danning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream/ Wu Gorge/Xiling Gorge ( B+L+D )

Sail through the Qutang Gorge, the shortest and the grandest of the 3 Gorges. Followed by the Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks. Disembark at Badong and visit the Shennong Stream. Take a boat ride drifting along the crystal stream. Then sail into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Stay overnight at Sandouping which is adjacent to the Three Gorges Dam.

At San Dou Ping, see the progress at the historic Three Gorges Dam, the world??s largest hydroelectric project. Meet our local guide and transfer to airport to connect the 4hrs flight for Shanghai, the largest city of China. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to hotel. Explore the city on your own.

D14 Jade Buddha Temple The Bund Yu Garden Shanghai Museum Former French Concession Area People's Square ( B+L )

Our sightseeing this morning is Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Then visit the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. After lunch, tour the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, The Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then visit the Old French Concession Area, the White House and Pudong New Shanghai-The People's Square.
