Terracotta Soldiers group tour start with the Banpo Museum first. Banpo Neolithic Village Museum is named from the remains of Banpo village which is located east of Xian. The remains were discovered in 1953. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC. It is recorded that about 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. There were about 500 villagers who lived in the village. Visitors can still see the remains of over 40 houses, over 200 cellars, 6 kilns.
Pay a 30 minutes short visit to the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is one of the landmarks of Xian an it was built to house Buddhist scriptures collected by Xuan Zang, the most famous monk of Tang Dynasty who spent 17 years traveling to India.
After China style lunch, visit Terracotta soldiers Museum. It is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.
