D01 Arrive Beijing

On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.

D02 Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven Beijing Opera Beijing Roast Duck Dinner ( B+L+D )

Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. The next stop is the Summer Palace. Enjoy Beijing Opera after Beijing Roast Duck dinner.

D03 Mutianyu Great Wall Ming Tomb Olympic Stadiums ( B+L )

Pick up from your hotel and take a 2 hrs drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, some 90km north of Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall is recently renovated and it is quite popular for its breathtaking views. On the way, pay a short visit to jade factory where you can buy some souvenir for your family and friends. After lunch, take a drive for Ming Tomb, the tomb of 13 Ming dynasty emperors which scattered in a valley, some 45km northwest of Beijing. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. Visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. On the way back to hotel, enjoy picture taking of both the National Stadium - the "bird Nest" and National Aquatics Centre - the "Water Cube".

D04 Summer Palace Beijing Fly to Kunming ( B+L )

Morning tour will be the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998. Before lunch, have a Chinese tea ceremony at local traditional tea house. After lunch, transfer to the airport and take a two-hour flight to Kunming, the "Spring City". Meet our local guide and transfer to hotel.

D05 Stone Forest Golden Temple ( B+L )

Enjoy half day excursion to the Stone Forest, a natural wonder which is 83km away from Kunming. It is a world of stone peaks, stalactite-stalagmites, subterranean lakes and underground limestone caves. For this topographical turmoil the place is dubbed "Number One Wonder in the World" . After lunch, drive back to Kunming and pay a visit to the Golden Temple. Built in 1671,the temple has the largest bronze temple in China, weighing an estimated 250 tons. Transfer back to hotel.

D06 Kunming Fly to Dali Old Dali Three Pagodas ( B+L )

Take internal flight to Dali, the famous city of historic and cultural significance. Dali was first built in 14th century. Meet our local guide and visit Three Pagodas Temple, an obvious landmark of Dali. The temple was first built in 9th century and restored in 1978. The last stop is Old Dali. The only two remnants of ancient Dali here are its North Gate and South Gate. Another attraction within Old Dali is the Foreigner's Street , which boasts many souvenir shops, guesthouses, internet and cafe.

D07 Erhai Lake Xizhou Bazaar Daili ~ Lijinag Dayan Old Town Square Street ( B+L )

Morning tour features the a boat ride on Erhai Lake. Then head for Xizhou Bai Minority Village and the bazaar, some 20km north of Dali. Take a 2 hrs drive to Lijiang. Meet our local guide and visit the Lijiang Ancient Town, one of the world heritage site. The old architectures and pathways here were rebuilt along the original style after an earthquake in 1996. The Square Street which is located at the heart of the Old Town offers a variety of handicrafts, from homemade griddlecakes to handpicked tea from Yunan. Lijiang became the first hill town to earn a World Cultural Heritage status from UNESCO.

D08 Baisha Fresco Black Dragon Pool Dongba Research Institute Rock Joseph's Former Residence Lijiang Fly to Shanghai ( B+L )

Morning tour starts with the Rock Joseph's Former Residence. Then Visit the Baisha Fresco. After typical Chinese style lunch, visit the Black Dragon Pool which located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The next stop is the Dongba Research Institute. Transfer to airport to connect the flight for Shanghai, the largest city of China. Meet our local guide and transfer to your hotel.

D09 Jade Buddha Temple The Bund Shanghai Urban Planning Centre Xintiandi Former French Concession Area ( B+L )

Pick up from hotel after breakfast. Morning tour features the Jade Buddha Temple which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Followed a visit to the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, The Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Enjoy 45minutes free shopping at fresh water pearl gallery before lunch. Pay a visit to the "Xintiandi" and the Former French Concession Area. Then visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Centre which offers numerous scale models detailing the history and future of Shanghai's development , a good place to learn more perspective on the changes sweeping through Shanghai. One must-viewing is the latest scale model of the planned development in preparation for Shanghai's 2010 World Expro. Last stop will be the People's Square. Transfer back to your hotel.

D10 Departure Q( B )

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport/railway station for departure or at leisure. End of tour.
