D01 Arrive Guiyang

Arrival in Guiyang, meet our guide and transfer hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.

D02 Anshu Huanguoshu Waterfalls Dragon Palace( B+L )

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and take a drive to Anshun, some 90km away to Guiyang. Pay a visit to Huangguoshu Waterfalls which is Guizhou' most impressive scenic sight and also known as Asia's largest waterfall. The scenic area consist 18 waterfalls, caves, karst mountains and deep pools. The Huangguoshu Waterfalls is the best known of the 18 waterfalls. The falls plunge 74m into the Rhinoceros Pool and the 134m long Water-Curtain Cave features a unique view of the falls from behind. On the way back to Guiyang, visit the Dragon Palace, known as the longest karst river cave Complex. Enjoy a boat ride into the caves to explore the underground landscape of spiky stalactites and stalagmites.

D03 Guiyang~Kaili Tonggu Miao Village Gejia Minority Villages Kaili Museum ( B+L )

Pick up from hotel after breakfast and take a drive to Kaili, some 200km to Guiyang. As the capital of Miao and Dong Minority Autonomous Prefecture, Kaili is the central market town in the South-eastern Guizhou. One will be fascinated by the traditional life style of the ethnic groups in these isolated spots. The inhabitants of the villages still wear traditional clothes and kept their customs. Visit the Tonggu Miao village which is famous for its traditional peasant painting. The next stop is Kaili Museum, one of the "100 Distinctive Museums of China". The museum is home to some 100 families, one can get a glimpse of the culture and history of ethnic Miao from their buildings, food and drink, costumes, festivals, production, recreation, etiquette, morals and beliefs etc. Then head to Gejia village ,which is to be accepted by the nation as a minority ,best known for its red dressing.

D04 Kaili~Rongjiang Langde Miao Village Xinqiao Miao Village Chejiang Dong village ( B+L )

Morning tour features the Upper Langde Miao Village first, best-known as "Long skirt Miao" owing to their special ethnic costumes. A village museum displays various kinds of weapons and cultural objects. Followed with the Xinqiao Miao Village which is well known for its traditional dance performances, with an aquatic granary as well as the Miao version of the miniskirt. The last stop is Chejiang Dong Village, the biggest Dong village in the country. The Drum Tower built in the first half of the 19th century and the Roofed Bridge are two unique, typical architectures here. Accommodation: 2 Star Rongjiang Hotel or similar.

D05 Rongjiang~Zhaoxing Gaozeng Drum Tower Basha Miao Village Zhaoxing Dong Drum Towers ( B+L )

Morning tour starts with the Gaozeng Drum tower which dates back to 600 years. The typical ethnic Dong tower is in the shape of a pagoda with a twin gourd-shaped top and a ceramic crown. Then pay a visit to Basha Miao Village which is virtually untouched in any way by modernization. Basha residents have maintained the characteristic lifestyle of the Miao ethnic group, still retaining the living customs and dressing code of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The next stop is Zhaoxing Dong Village, known as "One of Top Six Most Beautiful Towns and Villages in China". The village is home to 4,000 inhabitants and it is a largest natural village of Dong nationality in China. The village has five clans, each of which featured with one drum tower, altogether it has five drum towers, five flower bridges and five Dong opera towers. These structures with distinctive characteristics of Dong ethnic architecture are best preserved.

D06 Zhaoxing~Diping~Sanjiang Wind-Rain Bridge ( B+L )

Pick up from hotel and take a 5hrs drive to Guiangxi Zhuan Autonomous Region. On the way ,visit the Diping Wind-Rain Bridge, the bridge is 4.5 meters wide and 70 meters in total length, is the symbolized architecture of the ethnic Dong people. The whole bridge is of a Chinese fir wooden structure with exquisite architectural art and compact layout. After lunch, head to Chengyang Shelter Bridge, which was built in 1916 and it is the landmark of ethnic Dong architectures, known as the best-protected and largest-dimensioned shelter bridge of China. D07 Longji Yao Ethnic Village Terraced Rice Paddies ( B+L )

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and take a 4 hrs drive for nature ethnic village and Longji terraced rice paddies which is famous in the world. After lunch, visit the Red Yao ethnic Village, the Red Yao people never have hair cut during whole life and it is listed in the World Guinness Records. Explore the Zhuang minority village which is high up in the mountains surrounded by beautiful terraced rice paddies. The rice paddies surrounded are built over the hillsides that reach up to 800 meters from the valley floor. These terraced rice paddies are probably the most impressive and beautiful in the world.

D08 Longji~Guilin Reed Flute Cave Elephant Trunk Hill ( B+L )

Pick up from hotel after breakfast and take a 3 hrs drive to Guilin. After lunch, visit the Reed Flute Cave, which has some of the best scenery of Guilin with stalactites and stalagmites casting distorted shadows that contort to the shifting multi- colored lights. Then visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin's best known sight and also the symbol of Guilin.

D09 Guilin~Li River Cruise~Yangshuo ( B+L )

Enjoy a downstream cruise on the Li River which moves gently between Guilin's lovely peaks. It is called the "hundred-mile art gallery". Stop at the town named Yangshuo, which is embraced by a dozen of limestone karst mountains, and "has the best scenery in Guilin". The West Street in Yangshuo, a 2km stretch crammed with pubs, shops and hotels. Glimpses of the rich culture can be found in many shops selling local products.
