D01 Arrive Beijing

On arrival in Beijing, meet our guide and transfer hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.

D02 Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven ( B+L )

Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year.

D03 Badaling Great Wall Ming Tomb Beijing Roast Duck Dinner Acrobatic Show ( B+L+D )

Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some souvenirs. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. Pay an exterior tour to Beijing's iconic constructions-the "Water Cube" and "Bird Nest".Dinner will the delicious Beijing roasted duck and enjoy Acrobatic Show.

D04 Summer Palace Panda House Lama Temple Fly to Xian ( B+L )

Morning tour features the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998. Enjoy a short visit of the number one silk complex. Visit the Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Panda. Then head for Shishahai Lake area. You can visit the old Beijing lanes by rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts 2 hours, visitors will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school and the Bell Tower built several hundred years ago. Lunch will be arranged at a typical Beijing resident's house. Tour of the Lama Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. Transfer to airport to take evening flight for Xian. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel.

D05 Terracotta Warriors Shaanxi Museum Big Goose Pagoda ( B+L )

Arrive in Xian in the morning. Meet our local guide and transfer to hotel first. Our sightseeing this morning features the Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum. It is not only reputed as the world's Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Followed with the tour to Shaanxi Provincial Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 113,000 relics unearthed locally. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in AD 648. The pagoda is regarded as a symbol of Xian.

D06 Xian Fly to Dunhuang ( B )

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport to connect the 2.5hrs flight for Dunhuang, the "Buddhist Oasis". On arrival, meet our local guide and transfer to hotel. Visit the Great Wall of Hang Dynasty on the way to hotel.

D07 Mogao Caves The Crescent Moon Lake Sounding Sand Dune Dunhuang Train Travel to Turpan ( B+L )

Enjoy a short camel riding along the Sounding Sand Dune. Visit the Crescent Moon Lake, which forms an oasis at the deserts edge. After lunch, tour the the Mogao caves. Boast 491 grottoes, Mogao Caves also known as the 1000-Buddha Cave. It is the largest of its kind and one of the best-preserved treasures of the art in the world. Transfer to railway station to connect the train K216 for Turpan at 2016pm.

D08 Jiaohe Ruins Karez Irrigation Site Sugong Minaret ( B+L )

Arrival in Turpan at 0822am, an ancient city over 2,000 years history. Meet our guide and take breakfast. Visit the Jiaohe Ruins which was built in Han Dynasty as a Chinese garrison town to defend the borderlands. After lunch, tour the Karez Irrigation Site, which the locals are most proud of, the irrigation method is their greatest contribution to desert dwellers. Our last stop is the Sugong Minaret and transfer back to hotel.

D09 Turpan - Urumqi ( B+L )

Pick up from your hotel and take a 4 hrs drive to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Visit the Terai Camp and Mount Nan Pasture.

D10 Urumqi Fly to Shanghai ( B )

Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport to connect the 4hrs flight for Shanghai, the largest city of China. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to hotel. Explore the city on your own.

D11 Jade Buddha Temple The Bund Yu Garden Shanghai Museum Former French Concession Area People's Square ( B+L )

Our sightseeing this morning is Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Then visit the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. After lunch, tour the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, The Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then visit the Old French Concession Area, the White House and Pudong New Shanghai- The People's Square.

D12 Departure ( B )

Pick up from your hotel transfer to the airport for departure. End of our memorable Silk Road travel.
