8 Day Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Group Tour

Day 01 Kathmandu-Nyalam
Drive from Kathmandu to Kodari (the border between China-Nepal), enjoy the marvelous scenery along the way, the rush green mountains, valleys. After immigration formalities in Zhangmu-2300 m, continue drive to Nyalam-3450m, a picturesque town on the high way.
Day 02 Nyalam-Lhatse Drive from Nyalam to Lhatse, visit magnificent Milarepa's cave en route
Day 03 Lhatse - Shigatse (3900 m.) tour via Sakya
Drive to the second largest city in Tibet, Shigatse. En route, visit Sakya Monastery which is famed as the "Second Dunhuang", due to its colossal, collection of scriptures, murals and Thangkas. Explore the Shigatse city after arrive.
Day 04 Shigatse - Gyantse (3950 m)
After visiting the Tashilimpu Monastery, one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet, drive to Gyantse with its amazing sights - Khumbum, Palkor Chode Monastery and Gyantse Dzong.
Day 05 Gyantse - Lhasa (3650 m.)
The highlight of this day is the beautiful turquoise lake, Yamdruk - Tso. After crossing the Kamba- La and the Yarlung (Brahmaputra) River, the journey ends in Lhasa.
Day 06 Lhasa Sightseeing
Lhasa tour, venture to the architectural wonder, massive Potala Palace, marvel the wealth of exquisite halls, temples and courtyards, chambers for worshipping Buddha and chambers, a large number of sculptures, murals, scripture and other valuable cultural relics in it.
Drive to one of the three famous monasteries in Lhasa, Sera Monastery in the afternoon. We have chance to enjoy the wonderful debating, walk on the path in the mountain and enjoy the rolling mountains and valleys with blue sky and white clouds around Lhasa city. Enjoy the authentic Tibetan food and wonderful Tibetan dancing and singing in the evening.
Day 07 Lhasa Sightseeing
Explore the spiritual center, ancient Barkhor Street and Barkhor Bazaae, weaving through allays are filled with stalls which lined with colourful Tibetan hand art crafts and products.
Enter the religious Jokhang Temple; view the devoted pilgrim prostrate around the temple. Excurse to Drepung Monastery in the afternoon, Drepung Monastery is known as the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet.
Day 08 Kathmandu Lhasa tour end
Transfer to the airport and fly out to Kathmandu.
