D02 Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven ( B+L ) Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year.
D03 Badaling Great Wall Ming Tomb Beijing Roast Duck Dinner Acrobatic Show ( B+L+D ) Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some souvenirs. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. Dinner will the delicious Beijing roasted duck and enjoy Acrobatic Show.
D04 Summer Palace Olympic Stadiums Beijing Fly to Xian ( B+L )
Morning tour features the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998. Enjoy a short visit of the number one silk complex. On the way to airport for Xian, enjoy picture taking of both the National Stadium - the "bird Nest" and National Aquatics Center - the "Water Cube". Arrival in Xian, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel.
D05 Terracotta Warriors Shaanxi Museum ( B+L ) Our sightseeing this morning features the Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses Museum. It is not only reputed
as the world's Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. Followed with the tour to Shaanxi Provincial Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 113,000 relics unearthed locally.
D06 Great Mosque Big Goose Pagoda Xian Fly to Xining ( B+L ) Pick up from your hotel after breakfast, stroll along the Ancient Cultural Street and Bell & Drum Tower Square. Then visit the Great Mosque which was established in AD742 and is still an active place of worship. After typical Chinese lunch at local restaurant, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in AD 648. The pagoda is regarded as a symbol of Xian. Transfer to airport for Xining, China's wild west. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to hotel.
D07 Qinghai Lake Kumbum Monastery Xining Lhasa ( B+L ) ![]() Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and take a 2 hrs drive to Qinghai Lake, one of the Qinghai's don't miss destinations. Qinghai Lake is the largest saltwater lake in China, at an elevation of 3,600m, it's surrounded by endless rolling grasslands and also the ethnic Tibetan living tents scattering about. In the afternoon, visit the Kumbum Monastery, which was built in 1577 and located 30km away to Xining. The monastery is one of the most important Yellow Hat sect monasteries in the world. Transfer to railway station to connect train T164 for Lhasa at 19:56pm.
D08 Train Journey to Lhasa Arrival Lhasa at 21:00pm. Meet our local guide and transfer to hotel.
Visit the Lhasa's best-known landmark, the Potala Palace. Comprised of the White Palace and Red Palace, the Potala Palace was first built in 7th century AD by Songtsen Gampo and rebuilt in 1642 by the 5th Dalai Lama. Stroll along the
bustling Barkhor Market which is located in the old city. After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple. Built in 7th century, the
Jokhang Monastery is the oldest wooden-and-stone structure in Tibet and also one of the Tibet's holiest temples. Transfer back to your hotel.
D10 Drepung Monastery Norbu Lingka Tibet Family ( B+L ) ![]() Highlights this morning is Drepung Monastery which is 8km west of Lhasa. The monastery was once the largest one in Tibet and it is now home to 700 monks. Followed with a short visit to a Tibetan Family. After lunch, visit the Norbu Lingka. Built in 1751, the Norbu Lingka was the summer residence of the Dalai Lama.
D11 Lhasa Fly to Chengdu ( B) Pick up from hotel after breakfast and transfer to airport for Chengdu. On arrival, meet our guide and transfer to hotel for rest.
D12 Giant Panda Breeding Research Base Mount Leshan Giant Buddha ( B+L ) Pick up from hotel after breakfast and visit Giant Panda Nature Reserve which is 10km north of Chengdu.Then take 2 hrs drive to Emei Shan & Le Shan Giant Buddha, which is some 140km north of Chengdu. Visit the amazing Giant Buddha Statue, the largest one in the world and listed on the World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 1996. The Buddha's head is 15m high, the nose is 6m long and the index fingers are 8m long. Construction started in AD 713 and finished 90 years later.

D14 Jade Buddha Temple The Bund Yu Garden Former French Concession Area People's Square ( B+L ) Our sightseeing this morning is Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist
temple. Then visit the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. After lunch, tour the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, The Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then visit the Old French Concession Area, the White House and Pudong New Shanghai-The People's Square.
