Dear Victor,
Please excuse my delay in writing to you to thank you for the wonderful trip that you arranged for us in
December. The anisation was excellent; both our guides were friendly,very knowledgeable and helpful,
and the sights we were taken to see were awe inspiring! Whilst the hotel in Beijing was good, it would
have been more helpful if more English had been spoken, and written on menus etc. The hotel in
Xian was excellent. Overall, the trip could hardly have been bettered – even the weather was fine, and we
would certainly recommend Sinotour to any of our friends who might be lucky enough to be able to plan a
visit your fascinating country. We would love to make a return trip some time in the future, as we know
that there isso much else to see, so we will have to start saving our pennies!!

your hotel at 0830am. Enjoy a downstream cruise on
the Li River which moves gently between Guilin’s lovely
peaks, stop at the village of Yangshuo.
Yangshuo has been one of China’s best antiques and
crafts markets.

D03 Yangshuo Banyan of a Thousand Years Moon Hill |

Pick up from
your hotel and cycling to the Banyan of a Thousand
Years, which is some 6km away from Yangshuo. The
enormous Banyan is 1,400 years old and measures 17m
high, 7.1m wide and spanning an area of over 1,000
square metres. Then visit the Moon Hill, a limestone
pinnacle with a moon-shaped hole square in the middle.
Enjoy local lunch at Moon Hill Village and then cycling
back to Yangshuo. Explore the West Street on your own. (B+L)

Guilin-Longji-Guilin Ethnic Yao Village Terraced

Pick up from
your hotel and take a 2.5 hrs drive for ethnic Yao village and Longji terraced rice
paddies which is famous in the world.
Upon arrival,
visit the ethnic Red Yao Village. The Red Yao people
never have hair cut during whole life and it is listed
in the World Guinness
Records. Take a 2 hrs drive back to Guilin.
This evening you can join an optional river boat
excursion to watch the cormorant fishing(US$20 per
person).
