It was a wonderful trip
I am home from my trip to China. It was a wonderful trip and I am very happy with the tour you arranged for us. I thank you for the great service that you provided me with, too. You arranged air travel and hotels that were outside of the typical itinerary and were patient with me when my plans would require adjustments from time to time. Your
level of service was excellent!! I am very impressed and I sincerely thank you.
We did encounter some minor issues which were rectified with a single phone call to Victor. He responded immediately and made everything right; once again I was very pleased with the service received from Sinotour.
One comment for your consideration: I was caught off guard when I found out that the drivers and guides received no compensation and relied totally on tips for their income. It would have been nice to know this in advance. In a tour with 5 or 10 people, if everybody contributes a little, the compensation for the driver and guide is reasonable.
However, in our case it was just myself (and my daughter) and I wasn't sure what was appropriate. Some advance warning and guidance as to what is appropriate would have been helpful.
The guides and drivers all took very good care of us.
So, again, a great trip, and I'm very pleased with the actual tour itself, and particularly your great customer service, Stella.
