about 09:00am. Morning tour features the Potala Palace and
Barkhor Street. After Chinese style lunch, visit the Jokhang Monastery.
Follow the Carpet Factory and Tibetan Hospital. Transfer back to your hotel. ( B+L ) |

D04 Lhasa ~ Shigatse
Tashilhunpo Monastery |

Take a 4 hrs
drive to Shigatse, some 300 km away to Lhasa. Shigatse
is an ancient cultural city dates back more than 500
years ago. After
lunch, visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery. The monastery
was first built in 1447 by Gedun Truppa, subsequently
honored as the first Dalai Lama. Check in the hotel. (B+L) |

breakfast, drive to Dingri, some 220 km away to Shigatse.

Drive 2 hrs to the
Everest Base Camp. Return to Dingri. (B+L) |

back to Lhasa
