Public Holidays and Business Hours

New Year Day – 3 days off.
Spring Festival (usually falling in late January or early and mid February ) – 7 days off.
International Labour Day – 3 days off, starting from May 1st.
National Day – 7 days off, starting from Oct 1st.
Companies, committies and associations in China follow the five-day week system. Offices in major cities in China, are generally open between 09:00am and  5:30pm, with about one hour lunch break, everyday from Monday to Friday. Government organizations and businesses close on public holidays. Department stores, restaurants, post offices, bank outlets and recreational facilities are open 365 days.
