Beijing to Xian by train
Pick up from your hotel at 0700am. Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall (UNESCO), the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. Badaling Great Wall: It is the most famous section of Great Wall in Beijing which built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. This section is some 70km away to downtown Beijing by superhighway and it is the closest section of the Great Wall to Beijing which can be visited in a half day. Badadling Great Wall was completely restored after 1957.Hiking the Great Wall (cable car is optional) for 1.5 hrs and head to the largest restaurant to enjoy a typical Chinese style lunch.
Take a 45 minutes drive to the Changling Mausoleum (UNESCO), the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing.
The imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are four groups of tombs in four provinces of eastern China. The tombs, designed in keeping with the Chinese principles of geomancy (fengshui), provide outstanding evidence of Chinese beliefs and traditional from the 14th century onwards and are significant examples of architecture and applied arts from that period.
Pass by Olympic Green, the "Bird's Nest" & "Water Cube".
Transfer to railway station to board train for Xian.
